Goole today said farewell to Reverend Graham Maskery, Chair of Goole Churches Together and United Reformed Church minister, as he left to take up a post in Morecambe. At a lunch at Central / Christ Church tributes were paid to Graham's work and a presentation was made to him and his wife Vera.

Graham was one of the driving forces in the setting up of GCT, and preached at its launch service in October 2010. In his farewell speech he urged the churches to continue to work towards unity.
